The Chen Pan Ling Foundation, as headed by Grandmaster Chen Yun Ching, aims:

• to promote human values and enhance personal development to build a strong moral society.

• to preserve the martial system of Chen Pan Ling as accurately as possible through hard training, analysis, research, standardization and codification;

• to spread the martial art system of Chen Pan Ling throughout the world regardless of religious denomination, age, gender, nationality or physical abilities through direct teaching and the provision of translated text, videos and other reference materials.

• to treat students as individuals, providing encouragement and a support mechanism to its members.

Chen Yun Ching made a promise to his father before he died to continue his life’s work of spreading the unique Chen Pan Ling martial art system throughout the world.

Master Chen’s commitment to fulfilling his promise is clearly evidenced by the fact that instead of adopting a life of leisure after retirement, he opened a full time martial arts studio in Taichung.

Today, Master Chen remains dedicated to passing on his father’s art as accurately as possible in a friendly and co-operative atmosphere. He feels honored by the continued interest in his father’s arts and is happy to provide as much information as he can to any person sincerely seeking instruction or correction.

In the past 7 years he has made no fewer than 7 overseas trips to Australia and the United States to teach his father’s arts and hosted many enthusiasts from all corners of the globe.

Master Chen is well aware that his father taught segments of his arts to many people from all over the world, some of these competent teachers added their own nuances (which is only natural) however this has brought about some confusion.

Now, more than 40 years after his father’s passing, Master Chen sees it as urgent that this disparate knowledge be consolidated, and where necessary corrected.

Accordingly Master Chen has made it is mission to codify exhaustively all of his father’s arts so that they are preserved for future generations. He will persevere in this mission for as long as he is able.
